Interim Senior Management Accountant

Description

• Implement efficiency's and automate processes to improve the systems and procedures, to keep in line with the companies values and plans
• Manage and develop two part-qualified Assistant Management Accountants, guiding them in the completion of their duties, including staff expenses, ownership of cashbook reconciliations and preparing balance sheets reconciliations
• Lead and co-ordinate the month-end close process in a timely manner, including posting and reviewing general ledger journals with prepayments & accruals and completing all inter company transactions and relevant journal entries.
• Conduct analytic reviews of monthly figures to support on variances to budget/forecast and present the results to the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
• Work closely with the FP&A team and Financial Controller to to deal with month end queries and support with year end
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the role

Profile

- fully ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified

- strong management skills

- worked as a management accountant prior

- an ambitious and driven candidate that can deal with high volume and face paced environment
