Our client, a well known & growing business based in Fareham is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Accountancy team.
Description
Financial Accountant - Fareham
- Manage the TLCM process to ensure all savings methodologies are agreed, costs captured and reports produced.
- Ensure all control and approval processes are in place for savings initiatives with required documentation.
- Chair and present in all Gainshare related meetings
- Proactively support and challenge the effective application of the gain share mechanism both internally and externally.
- Provide regular updates to the business on Gainshare progress v targets
- Responsible for timely and accurate reporting to show the contract performance
- Be an active contributor to the wider senior management team and understand the reasons behind the numbers
- Production and management of weekly quicks
- Attend site review meetings to support the operational team
- Support the delivery of accurate, complete, and timely charging analysis to the customer as well as query resolution
- Identify opportunities for improvements and develop effective solutions
- Prepare budgets, management accounts forecasting and other ad-hoc project work
- Responsible for monthly bespoke customer management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Ensure adequate controls and processes are in place and DHL policies adhered to and all deadlines are met Manage the monthly customer reviews implementing improvements/changes as the contract progresses
- Complete monthly internal reporting packs and attend trading reviews to communicate results to senior management teams
- Ensure all reporting is both timely and accurate to enable contract performance reviews
Profile
The successful candidate would ideally be someone with a strong commercial background who has a keen interest in the operational side of business.
Job Offer
Salary £45,000 - £55,000
