Management Accountant

My client are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for completion of the management accounts and monthly reporting, producing detailed sales analysis, preparation of the annual budget, assisting in year end and half year financial accounts, business partnering with key stakeholders and supporting the rest of the finance team.

Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts & monthly reporting.
• To produce weekly departmental P&L's & compare to the above.
• Produce detailed sales analysis by customer & department.
• To help in the preparation of the annual budget.
• To assist in the year end and ½ year-end financial accounts.
• To support all areas of the Finance Team including Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & analysis relating to the Nominal Ledger.
• To maintain the highest quality standards with due regard to the Customer's requirements and in line with HACCP, BRC and any other internal or external legislation / audit

Profile

• Qualified accountant (QBE not accepted)
• Distribution experience or relevant industry experience
• Strong management accounts experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to business partner and communicate across the business
• Knowledge of SAP would be an added bonus, as well as strong excel skills

Job Offer

• Salary of up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
• Bonus potential
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Also the option to buy/ sell an additional 5
• This role will ideally be 100% site based but with some flexibility e. 1 day per week from home
