Client Details
Michael Page Finance are excited to be partnered with a fast growing PE Backed business in the retail sector. Our client has grown rapidly over recent years through a combination of acquisition and organic growth. This opportunity to join their team at FP&A Analyst will afford the successful candidate with opportunities to develop amongst a team of likeminded and ambitious individuals. Progression in this role is supported and encouraged and given the culture and background of the business the potential to move forward into a senior role is excellent.
The business currently has a hybrid working model with 2/3 days in the office per week.
Description
As FP&A Analyst, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the long term strategy of the business To have ownership of the budgeting and strategic planning forecasting model
- Ownership of model development and accuracy
- Ensure model is sufficiently dynamic to allow for scenario planning
- Ensure historic monthly Actual figures are accurately updated Support the execution of inorganic growth strategies (incl M&A and new site expansion)
- Work with the FP&A Manager to evaluate new opportunities Contribute to the improvement of the quality of reporting within the organisation
- Assess and improve the use of targeted KPIs
- Embed improved reporting formats into the organisation
- Work to improve the content and consistency of reporting Lead the enhancement of the forecasting accuracy and processes
- Provide analytical support to the business leaders including brand MDs and the operational board with regards adhoc analysis
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Analytical and logical problem solving skills
- Forward thinking, efficient and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
