My client is a very high profile Public Sector organisation based in Cardiff

Description

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, The Senior FBP plays a Pivotal role in the success of the organisation

You will lead a team of c7 staff who are responsible for the production of the Management Accounts and budgets for this £100m budget area of the organisation.

As the Senior FBP, you will be responsible for Stakeholder engagement throughout your area and drive commerciality and cost control.

You will develop Financial models that will analyse budget v spend and long term strategic decision making.

Profile

You will be a Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA

You will bring a high level of commercialism to the finance team.

Sector experience is not relevant for this role, what is important is great stakeholder engagement skills, people management and financial modelling skills

Job Offer

An initial 6 month temporary assignment that may get extended

Salary up to £335 per day umbrella company or £290 per day PAYE

Hybrid working - Its expected that you Will be in site 2 days a week to meet with budget holders
