Management Accountant - Immediate Start - Hospitality & Entertainment - Hybrid working - Contract Role

My client is a leading Hospitality & Entertainment group and they are looking to add an enthusiastic member to their busy finance function. This is a possible temp to perm role.

Role & Responsibilities:

• To assist with the production of month end profit and loss reports and balance sheet
• To assist in the production of the monthly board packs
• To prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports
• To forecast month end cash accurately and report to the FC
• Reviewing debtors and bespoke reconciliations
• To assist with the preparation of the annual budget
• Assisting with the preparation of financial and regulatory information for internal and external audit purposes
• To ensure that invoices are raised correctly and credit control is undertaken on a monthly basis
• To review VAT returns and highlight findings to the FC
• Preparing tax reconciliations for appropriate accounts
• To undertake other projects and analysis on an ad hoc basis
• Sign off expenses, ensuring correct coding and VAT treatment
• Provide support to the FMs where required
• Assisting with ad-hoc requests where required

About You:

• ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
• Previous experience within Hospitality
• Professional approach and high level of discretion
• Ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions
• Technical grasp of Excel functions
• Sound level of accounting knowledge
