This well-known insurance organisation with a headcount of over 1000 employees across its London & international offices is looking for a high calibre & commercial accountant to manage the insurance FP&A function. Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A, you will manage a team of 5 and will be responsible for providing strategic insight and analysis to challenge the teams and drive better decision making. The role has primary responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and providing salient MI for senior stakeholders across the business.
Alongside the Senior Finance Business Partners you are responsible for setting finance policies to deliver pricing income, projects spend and BAU for the areas they support. With your ExCo member you will set the KPI's and provide leadership to ensure the senior leadership team achieve meet these targets and report accurately. Every quarter your will lead a CEO performance review for the ExCo members you support. This role must champion company wide use of Anaplan, ongoing development and data held in the system. This includes evaluating data, systems and processes to recommend appropriate changes to enhance planning information reliability, accuracy and insight for the business
In this role your technical, commercial and insurance market knowledge combine to ensure all functions have access to an expert business partner who impacts both internal and external customers to the business. A qualified accountant with significant experience gained in a business partnering or FP&A role with the non-life insurance sector is essential.
You will need to be an effective communicator who takes a strategic view in order to influence and guide stakeholders both inside and outside of finance.
