Assistant Management Accountant - Real Estate. OUR CLIENT specialise in the development of residential properties across the UK and due to a number of successful investments. They are now expanding the business, therefore the Head of Finance is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support them.
THE ROLE will involve:
- Responsible for raising sales demands
- Responsible for managing the monthly sales, purchase and nominal postings onto Xero.
- Preparing bank reconciliations weekly.
- Responsible for posting expense and preparing credit card reconciliations.
- Assistant in preparing month-end accounts.
- Responsible for VAT returns.
- Responsible for maintaining the fixed assets register.
- Carrying out prepayments, accruals and suppliers statements reconciliations.
- Responsible for intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Responsible for Dormant Company House filings.
- Assisting with managing ongoing development project costs.
- Assisting with audit, and tax preparations.
- Assist with financial reporting or any ad hoc reports.
THE PERSON: To apply, you MUST have 3+ years' experience working in property finance ideally in the residential property development sector. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and willing to learn and grow within the role as well as possess good attention to detail with good problem-solving skills. This role will be based in the office 5 days a week to start and then c1 day WFH after probation and would someone looking to join a small growing business.
