Your new firm
This established an respected firm in Stockport is looking to hire a new accounts senior into their growing and diverse team. This excellent position has come about following a period of extended success and continuous company growth. Long established in Stockport, the firm works with a varied and diverse client range across various sectors and sizes.
Your new role
As an accounts senior, you will hit the ground running with year end accounts preparation for a mix of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with turnovers typically up to £15million. You will also be responsible for VAT returns as well as corporation tax computations and/or returns. With this role there is scope to build and develop your own portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact for the firm and developing a long-lasting professional relationship.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an driven and motivated semi-senior accountant who has good strong previous practice experience. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a set of accounts from scratch up to partner review.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between £20,000 and £30,000 (DOE) as well as a range of company benefits.
