Halliday Marx have partnered with a Large Media Business to recruit a Financial Controller on an Permanent basis.
Responsibilities;
- Overseeing the production of the Management Accounts
- Being the technical lead on more complex areas of Accounting and Reporting
- Signing off monthly Financial Reporting Packs
- Managing the Audit Process
- Group Reporting and consolidation
- Reviewing Analysis and various financial reports
- Financial Reporting under UK GAAP
- Reconciling Financial statements on both UK GAAP and US GAAP
The successful candidate will;
- Minimum of 2 years Post Qualification experience from either (ACA/ACCA)
- 4 years + Audit experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience managing small teams
- Very strong Technical reporting skills and experience with UK / US GAAP
- Strong Excel skills {Vlookup's & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
