Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

The role of Senior Financial Accountant will suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who is either making their first move from Audit or someone with 1-2 years of industry experience working in a Financial Accounting position. This role will offer the opportunity to coach/mentor and eventually manage one individual and have exposure to working closely with Senior Managers across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for maintaining IFRS16 Lease database and all associated tasks
• Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset register and all associated tasks (incl. valuation of company Assets)
• Analysing P&L costs and balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Submitting data to external tax team to assist them in finalising Tax computations, calculation of QIP's and quarterly tax calculations
• Review of company VAT returns
• Produce final Statutory Accounts and assist with audit enquiries- Sika Limited and all UK subsidiaries
• Assist with the company's Internal Control System
• All tasks associated with the day to day running of the Finance team and month end/quarter end/ year end closing

To be considered for this role you must be qualified (ACA/ACCA) either making your first move from Audit or with 1-2 years of PQE industry with Financial Accounting experience.

I am looking for someone with strong knowledge of IFRS16 lease accounting, UK GAAP, IFRS, and a strong background in month end closing procedures and Financial Accounting.
