Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a growing and successful business based in the Sheffield area who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a fixed term basis to help assist them with a busy period with the potential for extension or permanency.
The successful candidate will be required to assist with elements of the payroll process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Weekly interaction with depots to ensure timely T&A sign off
* Timely and accurate delivery of gross pay information to payroll provider as per published schedule
* Reconciliation of payroll files submitted and processed
* Timely response and resolution to pay queries
* Recognition of and adherence to internal company and external legislative policy
* Work closely with HR to improve contractual inefficiencies and so reduce errors
* Analytical approach to problem solving
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified to GCSE Level (at Least 5 GCSE's Grade C or Above)
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work well in fast-paced environments
