A global West London based highly acquisitive business are looking for their next Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider Finance team. This is not your usual GFM there will be elements of FP&A, where you will be able to enhance your commercial skills. You will be implementing new accounting standards in many areas as well as providing technical accounting advice to other teams. The successful candidate will join a thriving business with opportunities to quickly progress.

What you will be doing:

  • Produce the Group’s monthly management accounts and Board Pack
  • Highlight and investigate trends and variances, reviewing actual versus forecast and budget analysis
  • Prepare and distribute forecast and budget templates.
  • Manage timelines for the delivery and preparation of the forecast and budget pack to the Senior Leadership team
  • Support the production of the Group’s year end statutory accounts for the group
  • Working with various departments, documenting all consolidation entries with supporting schedules
  • Analyse and implement changes from new accounting standards
  • Lead ad work where appropriate

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge especially with IFRS
  • Exposure to International Groups with consolidation experience
  • Strong communications skills, extremely diligent and thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel is a must with experience using Hyperion desirable or other consolidation software
