Resourcery Group are working with a global niche service provider who are looking to bring on board a qualified accountant for a Senior Interim Finance Business Partner role. This is an interim position whilst they on board a permanent longer term solution.
The Senior Finance Business Partner role:
- Finance business partner for the Exec team
- To manage the business transformation programme financial performance in line with the business case and contractual obligations. Ensuring costs are controlled and understood, invoiced per contract and that processes are in place to appropriately track and challenge spend. Working closely with the Programme Manager and wider Programme Board
- Working closely with Procurement to ensure 3rd party spend agreements with our outsourced providers are in line with contractual terms
- Key member of the digital and business transformation steering board. Providing financial and contractual updates and insight. Including regular Board presentations
- To lead the forecasting and budget process across areas including P&L, CAPEX and exceptionals
- Review and implement process and reporting improvements for demand planning and project utilisation. Ensuring time is spent effectively on customer and capital projects and in line with budget.
- Responsible for the oversight of all customer and capital projects and tracking of these versus business case and the impact on the monthly forecast.
- Input and review customer profitability with the wider finance team to ensure value add information is then communicated to the wider business
- To review the month-end close for accuracy and ensure any variances are explained and understood.
- Focus on continuous improvement to processes and ways of working. With a particular emphasis on improvements to forecast modelling
- Member of the finance leadership team
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Have strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate with stakeholders
- Influence stakeholders
- Demonstrate strategic understanding
- Experience of financial management, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen
