Finance Systems Improvement Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a global manufacturing group as they look to bring in an experienced Systems Accountant/ Manager to assist them in reviewing their current systems and data management processes. There will be a wide variety of projects to get involved with and you will also work closely with a project team as the firm looks to select and implement a new ERP system so this is a fantastic time to join them and really add value.

You will be based out of their Rotherham office but once established in the role, you will be able to choose to work from home a couple of days a week.

Report directly into the Head of Finance and Group Finance Director, duties will include: -

- Partnering with external consultants and the IT department to drive business systems projects
- Act as a key lead in driving process improvements across the finance function
- Working closely with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Assess best tools to manage business data
- Working on a variety of project-based activities, including cash flow, flash reporting, MI provision and AP/AR based process improvements
- Improve month end processes and streamline

The successful candidate will have the following attributes and skills: -

- Previous experience in a systems based improvement role
- Strong communication skills
- Stakeholder management
- Project management experience
- Ideally with strong spreadsheet development
