Our client in the Financial Services sector is now looking for a Consolidation Group Accountant to join a very diligent, highly driven team who has excelled working from home. Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting you will be responsible for:-
- Monthly reporting, reviewing balance sheet reports and following up on any queries
- Quarterly reporting, preparing and analysing financial statements, producing and analysing balance sheet commentaries
- Annual reporting, analyse statements, investor reports, year-end and ledger reconciliations
The ideal person will have a strong background in financial control, statutory accounts preparation, consolidations, IFRS and UK GAAP. First-rate communication skills with the ability to work from home and build strong relationships with the team. An analytical problem solver with the ability to challenge, enquire and analyse. You will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with good systems skills especially Excel to an advanced level. This role is home-based spending one day a month in the office.
