Senior Accountant
Liverpool/ Flexible Working
Salary - £45,000
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Qualified Accountant to join our client, a forward thinking, fast-paced business in a newly created role. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading & developing a small finance team, managing day-to-day financial operations, whilst also receiving the very best training, support and mentoring to ensure your growth within the business.
The successful candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with Post Qualification experience ideally gained from working within large, blue-chip companies.
1st movers from Top 10 Practice firms will also be considered.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting Finance Manager with deliverables
- Preparing month end accounts for overseas
- Liaising with overseas stakeholders
- Monthly P&I reviews
- Statutory audit support and review for regional entities
- Mentor and support Financial accountant
- Assign roles and responsibilities to the Financial Accountant
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted accounting policies and procedures and are reported within the deadlines
- Managing multiple entities
