Group Accountant

Partner Financial are engaged with a high-growth Hospitality business with a turnover of £10m. The team has excelled throughout the pandemic and is currently present in over 10 European countries, with a significant expansion plan over the coming years.

Reporting to the CFO, you will become a key member of the team, managing the accounting processes for all entities across Europe, with the opportunity to expand further in the coming months.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing, reviewing and analysing weekly and monthly management information
• Assisting with the interpretation of results and drafting monthly financial commentary for the Board of Directors and Management Team
• Liaising with the divisional managers, ensuring their understanding of accounts and the impact of their forecasts
• Assisting the CFO with the preparation of business plans, this includes acquiring potential new properties for the group’s portfolio
• Partnering with budget holders to ensure the coordination of the process
• Developing a robust understanding of the financial aspects of the business to promote and implement control mechanisms
• Preparing financial information for the Operational Performance Team reviews of the different divisions and Central Office

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Proven ability to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages to non-finance specialists
• Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
• An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise own deliverables under time pressure
• Extensive working experience across the Hospitality industry is highly advantageous
