Partner Financial are working with an International, Private Equity backed business with operations throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. The business has a turnover in excess of £1bn, a feat achieved through exceptional project delivery built on reliable customer relationships. This role has been created by incredible growth of the largest and most entrepreneurial business unit in the UK. It would suit someone who has a passion for a dynamic environment and fast paced, project work.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be providing analysis and insight to assist the business in making value added decisions, as well as consolidating various financial reports and KPIs for management use, providing analytical support and cost control.

The Role:

  • Working together with the Finance Business Partner to generate a suite of consistent analysis tools that support financial and commercial proposal
  • Supporting the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and KPI’s used by senior management
  • Producing working files for month end reporting along with key KPI data and supporting analysis
  • Assisting the different business units providing fact based analysis to support financial and commercial proposals
  • Identifying trends and business opportunities, raising ideas and champion process improvements, as well as cost saving initiatives to meet business objectives
  • Preparing and reviewing the analysis of WIP schedules and staff time allocation
  • Owning the divisional, local country and central overheads and supporting analysis, processing adjustments as necessary
  • Providing analysis of actual results against forecast and budget

The ideal candidate:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • A team player, who encourages collaboration and welcomes challenges to achieve greater results
  • Strong communication skills, capable of building successful relationships with both, more senior and more junior stakeholders
  • Highly structured and organised individual, with the ability to manage own workload, meeting deadlines accurately
  • Able to take high level view of situations, as well as demonstrating excellent attention to detail
