Finance Analyst

Partner Financial are working with a high growth PE backed communication business with a turnover of £1bn. The company is part of a global leading communication group. their product offering and customer experience has led them to play a key role in the global interconnection network.

You will be joining a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is a key support piece to the commercial team and other business units through robust and efficient analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge by building effective working relationships
• Ensuring all the projects have in place an up to date, high quality full year forecast that reflects all relevant material issues and business plans
• Supporting the management teams ensuring the inventory, accruals and pre-payments relating to direct contracts are well understood and properly controlled
• Supporting team management with value-add management reporting, identifying emerging trends and ensuring action is taken to address them
• Providing analysis to support different stakeholders across the business on decision making.

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
• An analytical individual, with strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient excel skills and experience working with complex data in a commercial environment
• Experience building strong and successful relationships with different business units.
• A self-motivated individual, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
