Associate Finance Director

Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit an Associate Finance Director for an exciting rapidly growing business based in Leeds.

The primary purpose of this role will be to work with the CFO in scaling a finance team to support the business's longer-term growth plans. You will also get involved in business planning and support strategic decision-making from a financial perspective.

If you are a Financial Controller of Head of Finance with prior exposure to working in a fast-growing company with entrepreneurial founders of venture capital investors then this is an ideal opportunity with a pathway of progression to Finance Director within six to twelve months.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Collating, preparing, and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries, and financial information
-Ensure the reliability, accuracy, accessibility, and completeness of financial information by taking ownership of all management accounting, payroll and treasury functions.
-Analyse the financial and accounting transactions and ensure that they are compliant with the company's rules and regulations
-Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, protocols, and risk management tools
-Assist CFO in the preparation of monthly management accounts and other regular and ad hoc financial reports for Board meetings
-Cashflow forecasting leading on budgeting and forecasting, working closely with line managers and budget holders to develop annual budgets along with supporting reports to explain subsequent changes in budget requests

-Extensive costs and pricing analysis
-Finance Business Partner and support and advise stakeholders in making strategic and operational decisions through challenge and insight
-Support the strategic and financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the aligned business area
-Support the development and ongoing measurement of performance against the performance management framework and KPIs
-Development and provision of relevant and insightful reporting and analysis to drive business performance
-Proactively leading and implementing changes to processes and procedures which will improve the functionality of the administration of the company and its financial systems

The successful candidate will require the following:

-CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified
-Highly experienced Head of Finance / Financial Controller
-Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
-Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and financial strategy development
-Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data
-Strong commercial acumen
-Highly proficient with Excel
-Strong financial modeling
