Chief Financial Officer- Private Equity Backed- FMCG

Hawkmont Consulting is exclusively recruiting for a CFO for a fast-growth highly successful PE-backed Manufacturing/FMCG business based out of Warrington. The business has done incredibly well and is aiming at a sale/secondary PE transaction over the next year,  this is a fantastic time to join and make an impact in the lead finance role. 

You will be working with a highly talented CEO as well as taking a lead role with the Private Equity relationship, you will be tasked with taking full ownership of the finance function you and your team will be responsible for the delivery of all of the management and financial reporting, including commercial analysis and statutory compliance. You will have a passion for improving controls, processes and people.  Cashflow forecasting is a key element of the role as is the ability to play a significant role in future growth. You will be heavily involved in preparing and taking the business through an upcoming transaction/trade sale.  This is a broad role where you will be able to use your experience to add value to a number of different departments, including, operations/production, e-commerce, customer services and the warehouse.

The successful individual will be a technically strong, fully qualified Commercial Accountant who has led the finance team. Having the experience of taking a business through a sale/investment process is fundamental for this position, our client is open to people coming from outside of FMCG/Manufacturing.   You will be a positive, motivated individual with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong working relationships across and outside the business. You will enjoy playing a major part in driving the business forward whilst developing processes and empowering people.
