Graduate Accountant

Investigo are working with a large property development company to recruit a bright graduate to join their finance team. This role represents a great opportunity to learn and develop in a world class environment. They also offer the opportunity to complete ACA in industry which is an anomaly in the market.

This role is four days in the office near to Battersea Park, with one day working from home. The organisation also offers full study support and great progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly board reports
• Assisting in the preparation of weekly/monthly management information reporting.
• Supporting the preparation, analysis and communication of the annual budget & monthly management accounts
• Preparation and posting of journals
• Completing the bank reconciliations for relevant bank accounts in a timely manner
• Assisting with financial reporting obligations
• Maintenance of the Profit & Cashflow Forecast system - database of current and future year costs, revenues and cash flows
• Providing general administrative support to all areas of the Finance department to ensure effective, accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting to aid key strategic decisions
• Supporting the Senior Finance Team in any ad-hoc projects and/or implementation of strategies to improve divisional performance

Person Specification

• Completion of an undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance
• Desire to complete an accredited accounting qualification (e. ACA)
• Experience using an accounting system preferred but not essential
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel preferred
• Professional communication skills (written & verbal)
• General organisation & coordination abilities
• Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
• Keen to deliver exceptional customer service
• Flexible and reliable
• Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
