Experienced ACA ACCA qualified audit & accounts manager for West Dorset accountancy firm

You will be working for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in West Dorset providing accountancy, auditing and tax services to companies, charities, partnerships, sole traders, trusts and individuals.

The firm is looking for an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager that is either ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience. You will have a mixed portfolio of clients, and you will be based in their Bridport office.

The role will be varied, involving a mix of corporate and not for profit audits and non-audit accounts jobs, as well as corporate and personal tax (previous tax experience is not essential). As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will work closely with the director, and other managers, with the opportunity to shape their own role and contribute positively to the growth of the firm.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, to include companies and charities.
  • Providing tax planning advice for clients as opportunities arise
  • Supporting the director and other managers in the smooth running of the office
  • Quoting for new work, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the firm

This is a great opportunity for the right individual to be part of a growing team, with opportunity for development and further progression. The role can be somewhat tailored to fit your previous experience and could either be suitable for a qualified manager, a qualified senior, looking to progress to a manager, or a more experienced assistant manager looking for further progression. Support would be provided for the completion of CPD courses and further individual development.

Please note: All applicants must have Right to Work in the UK as sponsorship for overseas employees cannot be provided for this role.
