Your new firm
This long-standing, independent firm of chartered accountants are looking to bring in a new accounts senior on a part time basis. This excellent opportunity has arisen through organic company growth and will function to support the friendly and diverse team. Long established in the Stockport area this is the ideal role for a part time accountant looking to work closely with clients, and develop their career all whilst retaining an excellent work life balance.

Your new role
As an accounts senior, you will be responsible for the end-to-end year end accounts preparation for a range of clients, mostly in the service and tech industries. You will also be responsible for an element of the company secretarial work, ensuring this is completed to a high standard. Furthermore, the firm does undertake a couple of audit engagements, which you will have the opportunity to work on should you be interested.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an experienced or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a strong background in public practice. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, undertaking and completing tasks with little supervision. The ideal candidate will also be able to undertake company secretarial tasks. Furthermore, as this is a client facing role, the ideal candidate will be a strong communicator as well as have the ability to develop long-lasting professional relationships quickly.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between £28,000 and £38,000 (FTE) as well as a range of company benefits. You will also have the opportunity to develop your portfolio and diversify your client exposure, aiding your future development.
