Your new company
This large, UK listed business is growing through an exciting transformation project as well as moving into new offices here in Bristol. As part of that change and transformation, they are looking to add to the finance team by recruiting an Accounting and Financial Control Manager to support one of its business units.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with the business, leading a team to ensure their reporting is accurate whilst driving financial performance of the business by providing insight to key stakeholders. Key aspects to this will include:
- Lead the financial planning & reporting activities of the business, ensuring financial forecasting, planning and reporting is provided to support strategic decision making.
- Directly partner with the business to implement strategy for the business, ensuring understanding on financial and operational performances.
- Manage month end
- Focus on ensuring quality of the financials, working with the finance and shared service teams.
- Lead and partner with the business to ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with legislative requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with exceptionally equivalent experience in industry or practice. You should be able to lead a small team, and be able to report on numbers accurately and effectively. You should have good commercial acumen
