My client is a leading Financial Services Organisation going through a significant period of growth based in the West Midlands.
Description
- Manage and oversee the consolidated companies reporting to the Group along with commentary and analysis for presentation to senior management.
- Support the delivery of high quality and timely management information reporting of KPIs under IFRS.
- Manage the reporting time line, underlying processes and external audit requirements of the team.
- Lead to ensure all data is prepared and reported in accordance with relevant reporting standards, business reporting requirements and local controls, and maintain evidence/audit trail as required.
- Provide accountancy input into the development of new accounting business processes to ensure processes incorporate current legislation and reflect developments in industry standards where relevant.
Profile
- Qualified accountant with significant experience of finance operational and reporting processes
- Technical skills and knowledge of accounting and reporting processes in a financial services organisation
- Leadership - drive staff to a common goal whilst holding them accountable for day to day delivery
- Stakeholder management
