Broad Group Financial Controller position with international manufacturing SME based in Wiltshire - Home / Remote Working bias.

Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you'll be joining the senior leadership team of this internationally operating manufacturing SME in an exciting position with global reach across the business. You'll be taking responsibility for the delivery of monthly consolidated accounts, implementing processes and controls to ensure robust financial performance of the business, and ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory regulations.

As Group Financial Controller, you will gradually take on up to 6 direct reports and act as a key business partner to operational stakeholders in a role that encompasses FP&A, audit, treasury, tax, controllership and governance, as well as project and systems work such as the upcoming ERP implementation, currently at the selection phase.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing / FMCG environment. Strong leadership skills are a must, as well as the proven ability to work with a variety of stakeholders based in multiple different locations. It'd be absolutely fantastic if you also had ERP implementation experience, ideally leading from a finance perspective, from selection to maintenance stages.

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive basic salary up to £70,000 depending on experience and qualification
  • Hybrid working model with ability to be based primarily remotely with occasional visits to Wiltshire HQ
  • Private medical and dental cash plan
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Pension matched up to 7%
  • Life assurance (6xDIS)

Due to the nature of the business, this role can be worked on a primarily remote basis (provided that you are based in the United Kingdom) with the occasional need to attend the Wiltshire-based Head Office for team meetings. Alternatively, locally based candidates are more than welcome to be based in and use a permanent desk in the Wiltshire-based Head Office if this is a preference.
