Financial Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading fast growth business based in Bilston as they look to recruit a permanent Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Group FC this is a role that would suit someone with experience across both Financial and Management Accounts. You will be responsible for the financial information and month end reporting to be submitted to group. Previous experience within a similar role within a group structure would be advantageous.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package this role is hybrid working (2 days a week in the office).

Duties include:

- To prepare the monthly group reporting schedules
- Ensure monthly control account reconciliations are complete, documented and authorised in line with audit
- Support the Management Accountant to ensure that month end is completed within Group's submission deadlines
- Support the Senior Financial Accountant to deliver KPI Management Information to the Business, where required
- Manage the Company's cash position, analysing short term receipts and payments and tracking actual position to forecast targets
- Comply with HM Customs & Excise requirements by calculating, reporting and ensuring payment of the company's VAT liabilities on time
- Calculate and report the company's corporation tax and deferred taxation assets and liabilities in line with external advisors' requirements
- Ensure that all inter-company balances are communicated, reconciled and paid in accordance with the group policy, liaising with other divisions as required
