Your new role

Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director, the Financial Accounting Manager is a key role in the finance function of the EMEA region. You will manage and coach a small team with responsibility for the month end process, including twelve legal entities across multiple countries. Duties will include detailed review of entity Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets, liaising with local accountants in EMEA subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting and reporting and providing support to statutory requirements including relevant tax filings, statutory accounts and VAT returns. You will maintain and enhance documentation of current business processes, financial controls and accounting policies to adhere to internal and SOX procedures and be a key contact for internal and external auditors, overseeing the EMEA interim and year end audit procedures. You will support the FP&A function with the annual financial strategy and budgeting processes and take a lead and manage other ad-hoc and project-based work as required.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with good knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP and previous management and coaching experience. You will have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong IT skills, including significant experience with Microsoft Excel and brilliant written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have an aptitude for managing workload and performing a wide variety of tasks.
