My client a privately owned company based near Wrexham is currently looking to appoint a Financial Controller to be responsible and accountable to the Board of Directors for the operational management of the accounts function and the monitoring and control of all financial aspects of the business to ensure excellence in financial reporting.

Responsibilities will include;

* Recording and reporting of all business revenue
* Production of monthly management accounts
* Recording and control of all business expenditure
* Operating and monitoring the group payroll system
* Preparing monthly financial management reports
* Monitoring, reconciling and maintaining company bank accounts in accordance with all covenants and limits
* Preparing annual accounts to be audited
* Management of the finance team
* Preparing financial forecasts and reports
* Ensuring all statutory reporting and filing is completed within required deadlines
* Ensuring the Human Resources (HR) function is operating as required
* Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety (H&S) are being monitored and maintained
* Ensuring data back-up system is adequate and robust
* Providing general accounting and taxation advice to the directors as required
