Accounts Payable Clerk - Birmingham - 22-25Kpa - Permgreenwellgleeson are exclusively recruiting and partnering a successful business in Birmingham. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to climb the ladder in Finance and Accounting, starting of in an Accounts payable role with the aim and drive to move into an Accounts Assistant role in the near future. This Role will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader and is ideal for someone with great aspirations for the future. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Assist with the processing of a large volume of invoices for 2 Wholesale sitesLiaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any issues on outstanding invoicesManagement of vendor queries via, phone, emailProcessing credit notesNotifying relevant departments of any Purchase Order discrepanciesSupplier statement reconciliationsCompiling invoices for the weekly payment run as well as filingGRN matchingAd-hoc duties Skills and Experience Minimum of 1 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger FunctionKnowledge of Microsoft Office packagesAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you will have experience in maintaining good relationships with both internal stakeholders and with our external customers.A proactive "can-do" approachAttention to detail.A desire to improve and refine processes Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
