Financial & Statutory Accountant

Excellent Opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with solid statutory accounting experience

Your new role
This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading blue chip business if you are making a first move out of practice or if you have good statutory accounting experience from within another corporate business.

As Statutory Accountant your role will include:

• Statutory Compliance: On time production of all UK entity Statutory Accounts
• Preparation for all other Statutory Filings: VAT/P11D/ONS/PSA/Intrastat, Overseas Branch tax
• Assist with the implementation of regulatory/statutory changes across the UK, including IFRS 16
• Assist with the Legal entity rationalisation programme
• Internal and external audit point of contact
• Assist with UK audits
• Assist with issuing technical guidance and policy change documents to the UK business
• Audit and ensure compliance against legislative and UK policy changes
• Balance sheet audit and compliance review

What you'll need to succeed
Your CV will need to demonstrate significant experience within this area of accounting. You will probably be a qualified accountant but you might also be nearing qualification with a few papers remaining.
