Purchase Ledger Clerk required for an exciting opportunity, working for a leading business based in Walsall. Having been established for over 20 years, the business boasts an excellent working environment and welcoming teams. You will be responsible for processing approximately 1500 invoices a month from start to finish; your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACS, reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries along with general office duties.
This position is a long-term temporary role however if the role is the right fit for you, it has ample opportunity to go permanent. You must have experience working within a similar role and have excellent communication skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who can join the business and hit the ground running. You must have exceptional attention to detail and be confident checking your own work, be a team player and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience with MS Excel is essential and a computerised accountancy package is desirable.
You will be working in the office 8:30-4.30pm Monday to Friday, they are accessible by public transport, provide free parking and fantastic internal progression opportunities.
