Location: York
Salary: £21,500 per annum (pro rata)

The Finance Assistant will look to support the Finance Team in the day to day duties of the department in regards to all aspects of service & delivery.
The Finance Assistant would have the following responsibilities:
- Ledger management and maintenance
- Processing invoices and payments Collate and post purchase invoicesObtain appropriate approvals, where requiredRaise sales invoices
- Reconcile monies and carry out credit control, where appropriate Assisting the wider Finance Team and being involved with ad hoc projects
To be successful in this Finance Assistant opportunity you will ideally:
- Have previous Accounts Payable experience
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and have excellent time management skills
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and be a team player
- Have confidence using software such as Sage, SAP, Oracle or Quickbooks or, be happy to learn new systems
We are keen to speak with individuals who have previous experience in an Accounts Payable position or where Purchase Ledger has part of your role: you may be a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or Invoices Clerk looking for a new opportunity or a multi-skilled Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant looking to apply your ledger skills.
This role is easily accessible via car, with free parking on-site, as well as via public transport. It is also a short walk away from York Train Station and on a regular bus route.
