Assistant Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be currently working in partnership with a growing business based in the Chesterfield area on a newly created, exciting opportunity for an experienced & driven Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.

If you are looking for a progressive and supportive role where you will be offered a varied and exciting challenge and taken on responsibility for the management accounts, maintaining various journals and getting involved in reporting / analysis duties - then this could be the PERFECT role for you!

Key responsibilities include:

*Maintaining fixed asset register and preparing depreciation journals
*Assisting with month end including posting accruals and prepayments
*Assistance with maintenance of sales reporting system and running reports with the completion sent to company directors
*Assisting with sales and marketing analysis
*Assisting with general overhead analysis
*To produce sales forecasting reporting
*Assisting with the maintenance of monthly control accounts

Experience and Skills:

*Knowledge and understanding of management accounts
*Strong communication skills
*Advanced Excel knowledge is essential
*Committed, self-motivated and highly organised individual
*AAT qualified or in a relevant professional qualification / have equivalent accounting experience
