Finance Business Partner

Temporary to Permanent Finance Business Partner
£50-55k + Benefits including (Bonus, Enhanced Pension, hybrid working model)
SF Recruitment is working with a well established manufacturing client with a UK base in Nottingham for the position of Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused accountant with Strong Business controlling or FP&A experience to join our client at an extremely exciting time as they continue to grow. In addition to a truly broad brush Finance Business Partnering opportunity there is also genuine scope for progression across our clients business/group for the successful candidate.
This role is responsible for managing crucial financial information including on business performance and support for decision making.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare /submit budgets and forecast reporting exceptions/highlighting areas for improvement
- Partnering with operations on a day to day basis, supporting business decision making
- Update and monitor standard costing
- Analyse P&L per site and business activity, reporting any deviations with suggested actions to deliver budget
- Transfer pricing management/review of profitability and intercompany purchase prices
- Analysis
- Review/implementation of robust and efficient processes and controls

Our client is keen to hire a qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant with strong Controlling or FP&A experience, this role is incredibly close to business operations so your partnering and stakeholder management skills are second to none. You should have good standard costing and budgetting/forecasting experience within the manufacturing space. Ideally you will possess SAP experience although this isn't essential. This role is to start fairly quickly so if you are available for an interim assignment or looking for that ideal permanent role I would love to talk to you.
