Finance Manager

We are working exclusively with our client, an employer of choice who offers hybrid working and exceptional benefits, to recruit a Finance Manager.

The successful candidates for the post will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and will primarily be responsible for the day to day running of the general ledger and deputising for the Group Financial Controller on all financial accounting aspects in their absence,

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of financial accounting and internal control systems.
• Management of the finance system, including continuous process improvement.
• Manage and support the operational work of 2 direct reports and provide guidance and training as necessary.
• Manage and oversee the month end process ensuring all are completed in a timely manner, along with supervising the monthly closure of all the ledgers.
• Review of all general ledger accounts on a monthly basis and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to resolve issues.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors as and when required.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all banking covenants.
• System implementation experience would be beneficial.
