Financial Controller - No1 Finance role

My client is a successful and fast expanding £20m t/o B2B Contract Engineering company based in Huddersfield.

The MD seeks a strong Financial Controller in this no1 Finance role to support and facilitate the company's ongoing profitable growth strategy. 

The brief:

• Develop a robust in-house Accounts function to deliver timely, accurate and insightful  financial and management information.
• Develop systems and processes in line with the ongoing growth of the business.
• Work as "finance business partner" to the MD and other Management colleagues to provide strong business performance analysis.
• Coordination of annual budget preparation and regular forecasting exercises.
• Proactive support to the compilation of larger bespoke client Tenders and key decision support to a full range of new business opportunities.
• Overall, to play a key role across the business to support the MD to achieve the company's successful and sustainable growth strategy.

Candidate Profile:

• A hands-on and commercially aware qualified accountant.
• Demonstrate strong potential to be capable of developing the role in line with the ongoing growth of the business.
• Experience of successfully operating in a similar Contract Manufacturing/Engineering sector business would also be a major advantage.

My client offers a competitive starting salary up to £75k + good Bonus/benefits package. 

Flexible hybrid working pattern following the initial 3-6 month period to establish key systems/processes.
