The organisation have state of the art offices based in Cannock but have adapted to remote/hybrid working style with the expectation of 2-4 days in the office a month, through investing in their people the organisation has gone from strength to strength and are growing. They are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to come in and lead a team of 4 Credit controllers reporting into finance and wider group operations and sales.
Your new role:
- Manage the day to day activities and performance of the Credit team, making sure processes are being followed with accuracy
- Run and review month end reports and cash flow forecasting
- Reporting daily to management both in finance and wider in the business
- To develop the team through training and 1 to 1 performance reviews and grow talks
- Query management for all escalated queries, making sure to be proactive to resolve these queries before due date
- Ensuring all customer accounts are reconciled
- Dealing with all rebates, credits and discrepancies to make sure the SL is clean
What you'll need
- 3+ years in a busy Credit Control environment
- Proven ability to lead a team
- CICM qualification is desirable but not essential
- Good Excel skills is desirable
- Strong ERP system knowledge, SAP is desirable
