Finance Business Partner

Newly created Finance Business Partner role to support the Operations and Manufacturing teams on site in York. You will be responsible for producing detailed analysis and reporting on performance to influence decision making, and will support the Operations team on cost control and improvements.

Description

As Finance Business Partner, your duties will include:

• Building relationships between Finance and Manufacturing, particularly with site management, to support on cost control and improvement
• Detailed analysis and reporting to support leadership team, including weekly reporting for your remit
• Lead involvement in project financial analysis including diagnostics and drive analysis on performance
• Work as part of the Operations Finance team, sharing learnings, and complying with financial controls and reporting timetables in line with business requirements
• Ensure timely completion of month end, providing accompanying commentary to explain performance/variances
• Completion and ownership of accurate and controlled balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc project work to support wider team

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment (Desirable)
• Commercially minded and ability to see the bigger picture
• Confident business partner with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Inquisitive and proactive mindset

Job Offer

In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£40-50k (dependent on experience) + wider package. They are operating a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days a week on site.
