Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Churchill Howard has been engaged to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a well-established and respected Financial Services organisation in Birmingham.

You will need a strong understanding of all relevant regulatory requirements, accounting standards and external factors to ensure the reporting is prepared accurately and compliantly.

Day to day tasks include:

• Preparing and performing analytical review on regulatory returns
• Supporting external statutory reporting
• Owning returns from production to submission
• Presenting to stakeholder for submission approvals
• Helping the automation project they are currently undertaking

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) however not essential, providing you have strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and standards relevant to a financial services environment.

Whilst Financial Services experience is ideally sought, technical accounting experience in other regulated environments will be considered.
