Hays are supporting a international manufacturer with a Head of Finance role to be based at the Coventry site with hybrid working.

Your new role
As Head of Finance you will report into the CFO and lead a sizeable finance function overseeing AP, AR and Credit plus Business Partners and the core Finance Team. This is a hands on role looking for an experienced day to day Controller and the role offers a broad mix of commercial work with A-Z accounting duties. The company offer a hybrid model so working with a team in both the office and remotely is a key requirement.

You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the finance function, oversee the month end duties and the year end statutory work. This is a superb role for someone looking to step into a Finance Director level role.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a Qualified Accountant with several years PQE and be experienced managing larger teams and developing and improving process. Knowledge of a ERP system would be very useful.

What you'll get in return

A generous basic salary between £80,000-90,000 plus car allowance, bonus and generous benefits.
