15 month fixed term contract with leading international employer
Your new company
A leading organisation in their field who have grown in recent years (both organically and via acquisition) seek to appoint a talented group controller for a period of 15 months.
Your new role
You and your team will take responsibility for the production of the group statutory reports in line with regulatory requirements and the expectations of the board. You will take the lead with regards to the overall consolidation of the financial results and act as the main point of contact with regards to the auditors. You will fulfil the role of technical expert as new standards come down the line ensuring all other members of the finance team are aware of what is expected from them. You will lead and guide a high performing team and work on a range of ad-hoc tasks (such as M&A activities) from a technical stand point.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a technically astute qualified accountant with a strong preference for those trained within a leading chartered firm. You will thrive working under pressure at those key reporting deadlines (month, quarter, half and year end). You will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a deadline driven approach. You will demonstrate a strong appreciation for IFRS standards.
