Salary: £120,000 - £150,000k

This opportunity is with a market leading and fast growing commodity supplies company.

The intention is for the business to achieve a £27 million valuation within 3-5 years whilst establishing and growing rapidly a secondary sector to achieve similar valuation in the following 3-5 year period

Highly innovative, and building on 20 years’ experience as a market leading provider in the sector, our client is a dynamic and has grown 65% since 2020.

The role is pivotal. As the Finance Director you will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management team to define strategic vision and direction and manage income and value drivers.

Your input as a member of the senior management team, being the Finance Director will be to drive the business forward while keeping firm control of cash, finances and reporting during a period of rapid growth and readiness for sale. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and facilitate change to achieve business objectives. 

Heading up the finance team, your accounting and management skills and your experience of producing actionable information from a variety of sources will be crucial as the Finance Director.

As the Finance Director you will:

• Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent Have experience in business acquisitions and integration Have worked in a senior financial role (FD or senior Financial Controller) for at least 3 years requiring hands-on involvement Have worked with SMEs in the senior management team or an autonomous division of a larger company Have developed business models regularly

We are also interested in someone who has:

• Experience of packaging or commodity businesses Experience of working with businesses in B2B Worked in an high growth organisation

Salary £120,000 to £150,000 depending on experience plus discretionary bonus
