Client Details
My client is a large public sector organisation based in the York area, looking for an Interim Financial Accountant. They are offering up to £350 on a daily rate and a flexible working style.
Description
The responsibilities of an Interim Head of Finance include but are not limited to gathering and monitoring financial data, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements, organise internal audits, prepare budgets, monitor and report on accounting discrepancies, analyse financial trends and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIPFA) ESSENTIAL
- Have advanced excel skills ESSENTIAL
- Significant experience of working in a Financial accountant role ESSENTIAL
- Experienced and confident with the production of statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
- Be immediately available or on a weeks notice period ESSENTIAL
- Have worked in a Public Sector organisation previously DESIRABLE
