My client is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to join its senior management team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance & IT.

Description
- The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance Department overseeing the finance team promoting an inclusive partnering model
- Ensuring reporting timetables and statutory regulations are maintained to high standards at all times and data integrity is sustained.
- Act as a conduit for all financial queries that arise from within the Organisation, communicating effectively with relevant staff as well as ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure the business planning process - short, medium and long term is integrated in to the monthly reporting process to the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team.
- Manage the annual integrated budget setting process across the organisation with finance and budget managers,
- Full responsibility for the monthly management accounts process ensuring close down and delivery is timely, accurate and appropriately reflective of activity,
- Develop and implement meaningful and timely financial and activity reporting for users up, down and across the organisation
- Manage / implement contract and activity costings and appraisals for current and new business
- Oversee the annual statutory Audit process with the Director of Finance & IT including completion of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Develop a cost analysis environment that informs the cost management and expenditure control process and introduces a preferred suppliers list across the organisation.
- Manage the outsourced payroll production and liaise with the Contractor to ensure timely and accurate salary payments are made to staff
- Ensure that the contracts and purchasing policy and procedure is enforced in all purchasing transactions
- Manage the current finance team encouraging and promoting their continued professional development.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience,
- Managed and developed staff teams
- Track record in delivering value through proactively partnering and influencing outside of the finance team.
- Experience of implementing and developing reporting methods and tools
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users in written and verbal format.
- Ability to prioritise, plan and focus on deadlines including relaying the programmes of work to affected colleagues whilst working under pressure to agreed time frames.
- A comprehensive understanding of common desktop operating systems and Office productivity software i. Windows, Office, etc.
Job Offer
