Established retail business growing via acquisition

Your new role
Managing month end close process to ensure that all entries are processed correctly
Month end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Process inter-company and inter-group cross charges and reconciliation of inter-co balances at month-end
Assist Financial Controller with preparation of management accounts, variance analysis and writing of commentary to be submitted to the Board or Bank.
Preparation of weekly and 20 weeks' cash flow forecast
Managing Foreign Exchange contracts and schedules
Assisting the Credit Controller where necessary, including raising customer credit notes, reconciling customer accounts, setting up new customers or amending current customer accounts
Assisting the Assistant Accountants with day to day queries.
