Financial Controller

• Reporting into a Director, you will be responsible for the financial controllership across multiple operational wind farms in the UK and overseas

• My client is a successful and well established global player in the field of renewable energy, specifically wind energy
• They have wind farms based all around the globe and they have been growing organically and through acquisition over the last 10 years
• They have a London HQ based in North/Central London and they have adopted a hybrid working model

Description

• Managing a team of two qualified accountants, you will report into the Director of Finance
• Oversight of internal controls, compliance and accounting policies
• Budgeting and monthly forecasting
• Oversee month end close
• Analyse and comment on key monthly variances
• Oversee the balance sheet for the UK and overseas entities
• Key lead with the Auditors
• Support VAT returns
• Business partner with operational stakeholders
• Occasional visits to sites

Profile

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA
• Proven management experience
• Experience with month end, management accounts and financial reporting
• Demonstrate an interest in renewable energy and infrastructure projects
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Infrastructure or energy experience is desirable but not essential
