Client Details

Michael Page Finance are working with a well established, national Trust in Birmingham who are looking for a diligent Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an exciting time to join a business which is ever-expanding and would offer the successful individual great exposure to stake holders and the senior Finance team.

Description

• Manager, monitor and report the Trust's financial instruments (Bank and investments)
• communicate with internal stakeholders and the Banking institutions to manage transfers, investment movement, credit facilities, account structures and queries
• Maintain and make mandates for the making recommendations for the bank mandates and bank use and access framework
• Produce regular Cash flow Reports and Forecasts for senior stakeholders and the Financial Governance, Systems & Reporting Team with supporting analysis
• Manage the petty cash processes and controls including staff training to improve control culture around cash handling and management
• Month end reconciliations, with the timely resolutions of any issues - with any risks managed or escalated appropriately

Profile

• Possess excellent communication skills when communicating with financial and non financial individuals
• Build successful relationships throughout the business with the ability to influence and challenge behaviours
• Have experience using MS Excel at an advanced level
• Experience in a charitable organisation would be beneficial but not required

Job Offer

Salary £40,000-£45,000 + various other benefits
